Library

The library offers a growing book collection tailored to the requirements of the degree programs pursued at the University. The collection is carefully developed in collaboration with the faculty. An online catalog allows users to efficiently search and locate books. Our library holdings are supplemented by a number of sizeable libraries in Rome which are available to all students.

The University curriculum increasingly uses multimedia resources for the classroom; the library therefore provides a growing collection of DVDs and VHS videos as well as other audio and visual material such as CDs for language and opera classes for faculty and student use.

The AUR library has created an Electronic Resource Center with online research facilities available to all students. The students can also enjoy a quiet study area for their work and research. These library facilities are complemented by a number of services including borrowing privileges, interlibrary loans, a reserve collection and more. Our library staff is committed to high standards of library excellence and, to that end, has recently developed a series of information literacy workshops and participates in orientation seminars every semester. Through these workshops, students are provided with the skills to research effectively and efficiently while using the resources provided both within AUR and outside of the University.
