MAR 8th – Talk by Amb. Ertharin Cousin, US Rep. to UN Agencies

The American Women’s Association of Rome (AWAR) has invited Amb. Ertharin Cousin, US representative to the UN Agencies for Food and Agriculture, to talk on Women’s Day.

The talk will be followed by screening of the film, “Pray the Devil, to Hell”by Nobel Peace Prize winners, Liberian Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and Leymah Gbowee

The event is part of the American Women’s Association of Rome effort in sustaining a global initiative by Women for Women International, an organization helping women survivors of war rebuild their lives and inciting women to make their voices heard and stand up for peace and equality.
