The Business Department’s Summer Lunchtime Lecture Series returns this year, broader and more robust than ever. Among the speakers who will participate this year are:
- The No. 2 American diplomat in Italy, Douglas Hengel, who is the Deputy Chief of Mission of the US Embassy in Rome, who will discuss Italy’s Business Environment and Perceptions of Investors;
- Dr. Maria Grazia Quieti, Executive Director of the US-Italy Fulbright Commission, who will share her research on Food Networks in the US and Italy and the issue of food sustainability;
- Rossella Carrara, Director of the Rome office of the global PR firm Burson-Marsteller who will discuss case studies in public relations in Italy, and;
- Local activist Lori Hickey, founding member of Retake Rome, a grassroots organization created to help battle Rome’s extensive graffiti problem.
In addition, a number of AUR professors will lecture on their topics of specialization. All lectures are open the AUR and broader Rome community.
