For the past six years REMUS has been showcasing the creative fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and photography of AUR students from around the globe. Published by the Department of Communication and English, the journal reflects our students’ creative visions, mixing media and presenting work that experiments and pushes boundaries, even as it draws on a long and rich literary tradition.
This year’s volume includes work that pays homage to Pablo Neruda’s Elemental Odes, parodies Shakespeare’s romantic comedies, and captures epiphanic moments in crisp micro-fiction. Also featured are student design work and photography that artfully celebrate the interdisciplinary approach that is at the heart of the AUR experience.
