Prof. Daniela Corrente, has taught Art History at the Specialist School in the Restoration of Monuments, University La Sapienza of Rome, for ten years and has given talks at several congresses related to Art History, Architecture and Ancient Town Planning. After a world-wide experience on recovery and restoration plans, she is conducting structural surveys and research on historic buildings in the centre of Rome in preparation for the construction of the new Metro Line C. Her most recent publications are focused on some topics and new interpretations of Renaissance artworks : La statua di Michelangelo del S. Giovannino, in “Andrea Bregno, il senso della forma nella cultura artistica del Rinascimento”, edited by C. Crescentini and C. Strinati, 2008; Simboli e significati nella pittura del Rinascimento, conference paper, Faculty of Architecture, Università di Palermo, 1th February, 2008, etc. In 2011 will be published the conference paper related to the activity of Luca Signorelli and Bartolomeo della Gatta, given at the Accademia dei Lincei, besides that on the Signorelli’s frescoes in Loreto.
