Prof. Timothy Joseph Allen

Tim is a practicing figurative painter, a web designer and a teacher. Born in Atlanta Georgia, raised in Nashville, Tennessee, schooled in Versailles, Kentucky and educated in Greencastle and Bloomington, Indiana, his move to Rome in 1998 was the obvious next step.
He began teaching at AUR in the Fall of 2006 and his range of courses have included Intermediate Drawing, Italian Sketchbook, Web Design and Terry Kirk’s Art of Rome.
He is the founder and director of Hypergolica, Inc., Rome Review and The Painting & Drawing Art Studio of Rome.
