Elizabeth Geoghegan earned an MFA in Writing from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago and an MA in Creative Writing from The University of Colorado at Boulder where her graduate thesis The Sound of Skin was selected for the Ruth Murray Underhill Award. Her writing and photography have appeared in The Cream City Review, Bombay Gin, Nerve.com’s Sex Advice From, and other publications. Geoghegan has worked as a screenplay editor and translator in Italy and the US and freelanced as a stylist for music videos, film, fashion, and commercial photography clients including The Smashing Pumpkins, Christian Dior, and Vanity Fair. While at AUR, she has produced the award-winning short film Benedizione delle Bestie (Benediction of the Beasts) and founded Remus, the student literary journal.  She is currently completing a story collection called The Book of Boys and an untitled novel. She has lived in Italy since 1999.
