Rosemonde Gurtner is a member of the Adjunct Faculty in the Italian Studies Department where she works as lecturer in Italian and teacher educator.  She also works at the Loyola University Chicago Rome Center.

She holds a Masters in Applied Language and New Technology from Hull University in UK and the CEDILS (Certificazione in Didattica Dell’Italiano a Stranieri) certification from the University of Venice Cà Foscari. Since 2001 she has been active in her field of specialization by serving in the following positions: Lecturer and Instructional Designer in the Linguistic Center at the University of Trieste, Teacher Instructor for ENAIP, Collaborator with AICLU (Associazione Italiana Centri Linguistici Universitari), Didactic and Editorial Consultant for Alma Edizioni, Italian Lecturer at the University of Roma Tre.
