Financial Aid: Student Assistanship Program

Student Assistanship Program

The American University of Rome offers a limited number of student assistantship to full-time AUR degree-seeking students.  Students who participate in this program provide administrative assistance to the University in exchange for either an allowance or partial remission of fees and tuition.  Student assistantship hours can range between 10-20 hours a week and are for the academic year.

Students must complete at least one semester before being considered for available positions, must meet the GPA requirement and must not have an outstanding balance on their student account.  Student Assistants will be paid twice a month (every 15th or closest work day and last work day of the month) for the hours they have completed. If students need the award credited to their account twice a month they must sign a waiver form in the finance office and are responsible for payment of any hours not worked.
Please contact the Finance Office or the Financial Aid Office for more details.

Towards the end of each semester, in-house announcements will be posted inviting students already in attendance to apply for these positions.
