Giliola Pilloni started her career at AUR in 1998 as Administrative Assistant to the President and Bookkeeper. She was promoted to Business Office Manager in 2000 and to Director of Human Resources & Physical Plant in 2003. She has always dealt with a wide range of aspects of the University administrative life, including Student Federal Financial Aid for about 2 years. As Senior Administrator of the University, she oversees the daily management, planning and strategies for human resources and payroll, campus facilities upkeep and maintenance, health safety and security, and the Business Side of Student Housing,
Giliola Pilloni has extensive work experience in International environment, matured in the Immigration section of the Canadian Embassy in Rome for 4 years, in a Traditional Chinese Medicine Research Medical Center for 3 years and in a Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society in Rome for 2 years, prior to joining AUR. She started her work career as travel agent in a tour operator in Sardinia. She was born and raised in Turin in a Sardinian family and moved to Rome, with her husband, looking for multicultural work experiences, which she successfully enjoys every day at AUR.
Giliola’s latest major accomplishments are a wonderful daughter, born in 2006, and the completion of a Master Degree in Business Engineering in December 2009.
