Meet The Staff
Rosa Fusco
Director of Computer Services
Dip. IT, B.Sc., Open, (Hons) The Open University, UK.
Born and raised in London, she moved
to Rome in the early 90’s. Soon after, she
joined the AUR family in its early stages. Having
been at AUR since 1992, Rosa is one of the few
who has witnessed first-hand the growth and change
of AUR. In 1995 she became the first Coordinator
of Student Services providing non-academic services
to the growing student body. In 1998, Rosa accepted
the part-time position of Coordinator of Computer
and Data Support which she still holds. She assisted
in the development and birth of the university’s
technological infrastructure which has increased
rapidly to support the growing demands of the
university. Rosa is the mother of two children
and speaks English and Italian.
Heather Marie Miller
Multimedia Technology Technician
B.B.A. Boise State University, USA Heather
was born and raised in Southern Oregon. After
high school she attended Tulane University in
New Orleans, Louisiana and later graduated from
Boise State University in Boise, Idaho in 2001
with a degree in Business Management: Entrepreneurship.
She began working at the American University of
Rome in the fall of 2005 for the Admissions Office
and later moved to the Computer Services and Communication
departments in the late summer of 2006.
Heather is the in-house Mac enthusiast and assists students with editing using the Final Cut Pro suite. She is also immeresed in the Adobe Creative Suite with programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Premiere, Soundbooth, After Effects and Flash. Heather
speaks English and Italian.
Daniele Torri
Instructional Technology Technician
Daniele was born of Sicilian parents in Rome, where he lives. In 1996 he received a commercial Diploma but soon left his business studies to dedicate himself to his passion for technology. His natural curiosity has led him to familiarize with the most varied sectors over the years: accountancy, programming, telecommunications, three-dimensional animation and television graphics. In May 2007 he finally landed at The American University of Rome in the role of Computer Services Technician.
