Student Life would like to extend a warm welcome to all new and returning students. Students attending during the Fall semester will have a wide variety of activities and events to choose from, including weekend excursions, an opera night, a welcome barbeque, papal audience and others.

We will be offering  weekend excursions to Venice and Tuscany. The guided day trips will be to Pompeii, Capri, Tuscany, and Assisi. The weekend trip to Tuscany will consist of visiting beautiful towns such as Siena, Florence, and Trequanda. These following towns are filled with beautiful landscapes, cathedrals, town  squares, and city palaces. The three day weekend trip to Pompeii, a Roman town  buried by a volcanic eruption is an unforgettable trip for its ancient Doric
temples, breath-taking view from the top of the volcano, and ancient ruins. The trip to Capri will give students an opportunity to see one of the most beautiful islands in southern Italy. Capri has breathtaking views and blue grotto is a once and a life time experience. Assisi is a Umbrian town found in the province of Perugia. It is the home of Saint Francesco and is famous for its basilica. The whole town is full of art, culture, and beautiful views to take plent of pictures. During the semster, the Student Life staff has organized a variety of lectures to help students adapt better to culture shock and help student stay healthy while studying in Rome.

Movie viewings and Community Service meetings have also been organized for students to help them meet other students and enjoy some of Italy's most famous movies. One of our most attended events during the fall semester is Thanksgiving Dinner. Every Thanksgiving, we bring Thanksgiving to Italy by holding a dinner filled with all the traditional American foods; turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and dessert!
