The Application Process
If you are interested in a study abroad experience at The American University of Rome, you should first consult with the study abroad/international study office of your home university. They will tell you if an affiliate relationship exists between your college and The American University of Rome. If so, simply follow the application procedures established by that office. A non exhaustive list of US universities and colleges with which The American University of Rome has such an affiliate relationship is found below:

If your college or university does not have direct affiliate relationship with the American University of Rome, it is still possible for you to study for a semester or year in Rome. Study abroad student enrollment is very limited and students are encouraged to make inquiry and application at their earliest opportunity.
