For Parents

The American university of Rome offers students a semester experience that will last a lifetime. Students will be able to experience a true full immersion cultural experience while studying in Rome yet still have the familiarity of a US style educational system and support system Study abroad students are requires( or strongly encouraged depending on their study abroad program ) to study the Italian language. Students live in apartments in areas close to the campus in traditional roman neighborhoods with real roman neighbors, who typically own their apartments. In fact most apartments are better categorized as condominiums. Shopping, riding the bus, mixing with other students from all parts of the world all contribute to a life changing experience.
