Winter Program 2009
The American University of Rome is providing a new opportunity for students to experience Rome and earn three credits in an intensive winter session running from January 7 through January 18, 2009. Select from one of seven courses offered at our Rome campus and utilizing the resources of our amazing city or from two field-based courses – a political science course in Ghana or an archeology/classics course in Sicily. The field trip courses follow a slightly different schedule and have added travel-related costs.
Students choosing the AUR Rome Campus program may register for one Rome-based course which will be scheduled either in the morning or in the afternoon. There will be one day without classes in the middle of the session on which an optional excursion to Tuscany for touring, wine tasting and lunch will be organized by the Student Life Office.
AUR’s student housing in areas neighboring the campus provides comfortable, fully furnished apartments. All units are equipped with unlimited internet access.
Student’s accompanying spouses may be housed with them at no additional cost.
The campus’s library, computing facilities, student lounges and study areas will provide comfortable study and social areas.
AUR’s outstanding international faculty are expert at using the resources of Rome to enhance their teaching and expand the learning experience for students.
