A two-year agreement was signed in June between AUR and the Libera Università Maria Ss. Assunta (LUMSA) to allow AUR graduates in Communication, Business Administration, International Relations and Global Politics, and Film and Digital Media to continue their studies in Italy at LUMSA on corsi di laurea magistrale in the Facoltà di Lettere e Filosofia. AUR graduates wishing to continue their studies in Italy will benefit by an agreement that allows them to take a number of prescribed courses as part of their AUR degree and then have that degree recognized through a standard Declaration of Value procedure (Dichiarazione di Valore) for the purposes of higher study on one of two LUMSA lauree magistrali: Comunicazione d’impresa e del no profit or Produzione Culturale, Giornalismo e Multimedialità. Interim President Andrew Thompson said: “This is a great opportunity for students who want to continue their studies here in Rome after leaving AUR. With a some advance planning their AUR degree can give them direct admission to study for a laurea magistrale at this important university in the heart of Rome. I am sure a number of our students will wish to take advantage of this agreement.”
