
The Office of Computer Services (OCS)
The OCS recognizes the importance of supporting an efficient technological infrastructure and providing quality instructional equipment to support its educational programs and enhance student learning. To further this aim, the OCS continuously reviews and updates the provision and enhancement of technology on campus.
Computer Labs

Main Computer Lab
The main computer lab is located in Building A on the ground floor. The lab is houses 55 workstations running Windows 7 or Windows Vista. All workstations are equipped with Office productivity software and are networked to provide students with printing capabilities and internet access. Workstations for scanning and advanced film making and editing are also available.
Evan’s Hall Library Lab
The Evan’s Hall Library has a small computer lab on the ground floor and a larger lab within the study area on the first floor. Wi-Fi access is available to students throughout the Evans Hall Library including garden areas.
Multimedia lab
The Multimedia lab located in the Carini Building is available to communication students enrolled in select film-related courses. The lab is equipped with thirteen Apple Pro computers with pro-level film, effects, and sound software (Final Cut Pro HD, Creative Suite, Peak); Two Apple G5 computers with pro-level film, effects, and sound software (Final Cut Pro HD Package); One Apple G4 computer with pro-level film, effects, and sound software (Final Cut Pro HD Package); All large screen displays – 23″ Flat Screen Cinema or LaCie Blue Monitors; One Apple iMac with iMovie for small video projects; Dual mini-DV/VHS tape and dub deck; 21″ color TV for playback; DVD Burners; Five broadcast-quality video cameras and 4 entry-level video cameras; Pro-Level Boom Microphones and Sound Kits; Professional Spot Lighting Kits; All tripods, cables, and accessories.
Science and Math lab
The Science and Math lab is located on the 5th floor of Building B and is available to students enrolled in science and math courses. The lab is a fully equipped learning center, providing teaching aides in our science, physics and math courses. The laboratory is stocked with experimentation tools and equipment. Each group station has a PC with DataStudio and internet access for research purposes.

Online Services
MyAUR
MyAUR is the AUR community portal. Giving all students access to their academic information including course registrations, degree program information, online advising capabilities, online registration and online add and drop. MyAUR also provides students with up-to-date announcements, campus events and campus group information. Online payments for various fees are also available through MyAUR. Students receive a MyAUR login during their candidate student status. StudyAbroad students receive a MyAUR login from their US program coordinator.
AUR E-mail
AUR e-mail accounts are available to AUR residents students and AUR graduates. AUR StudyAbroad students may request an AUR email upon arrival in Rome. Mailboxes can be access using the AUR web mail

Learning Management System
The LMS is AUR’s online course management system. Students gain access to their course homepages, course communication tools, course announcements and handouts through the LMS. The LMS is accessible via MyAUR and pulls course enrollment information directly from the university’s ERP.

Network Services
File Storage: T Drive
Students are able to save their academic work on the network T drive. The drive is frequently scanned. Any video files found on the drive not pertaining to class will be removed. The drive is cleaned up at the end of each semester. Longer storage facilities can be obtained on request.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi access is available in select locations on the AUR campus.

Instructional Equipment
Smart Classrooms
95% of classrooms on campus are fully equipped with a PC/Video projection and audio system, allowing for the screening of multimedia and presentations.
Computer Classroom
The computer classroom is located on the 4th floor of Building B and is used for staff/faculty training and the computer component of select AUR courses. The lab is equipped with a presentation system and course specific software.
Auriana Auditorium
The Auriana Auditorium is a high-tech multimedia facility with Dolby Surround sound system and High Definition projecting system.

The OCS is located on the ground floor of Building A and is open Monday to Thursday from 8am to 6.30pm and on Fridays from 8.30am to 3pm.
