Irene Caratelli’s academic interests within the social and political sciences spread between: International Relations, European Studies, International Political Economy, Comparative Politics and Regionalism. She is currently teaching courses in three different Universities: the American University of Rome (AUR) – Introduction to Political Science; LUISS University (Rome) – EU Economic Relations and Globalisation; and the University of Naples L’Orientale – World Politics. Besides her academic profile, Dr. Caratelli worked several years as policy-analyst at the Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI, Institute for International Affairs, 2001-2005), one of the most prominent think tanks in Italy. At IAI Dr. Caratelli was Research Fellow, responsible of international trade issue and WTO negotiations.
