Visiting Student Application Checklist

- One Academic Recommendation Letter (from the principal, a guidance counselor, teacher or professor)
Personal Statement: 500 words, answer only ONE of the following three questions:
- 1. "The 18th century French philosopher Denis Diderot said "only passions, great passions can elevate the soul to great things." Describe one of your passions and discuss its contribution to your personal growth."
- 2. "Discuss how your family, school, neighborhood and background have impacted your educational goals and aspirations."
- 3. "Describe a challenge that you have faced. How did you resolve it? How did the outcomes affect you? If something similar happened in the future, how would you react?"
As an American Applicant you also need to provide:
- Results of the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or American College Test (ACT). Only required for high school students graduating from a U.S. high school system, whether in the U.S. or abroad
Please also provide:
- Official TOEFL score or another English language proficiency exam.
