Brian E. Davis
- Assistant Dean of Enrollment services – US
- MTS, Boston University, Boston, Massachusetts, USA
- BGS, Cum Laude, Wichita State University, Wichita , Kansas, USA
Brian has over 30 years of admissions experience which runs the gamut from liberal arts to engineering technology; from open admission to competitive architecture; from two-year to four year; from Counselor to Director to Dean; from domestic (U.S.) to international. His admission career began as a student in the admissions office at Wichita State University. He studied with Nobel Laureate Elie Wiesel during Graduate School. Brian has worked at Franklin Institute of Boston and was Director of Admissions Operations at Roger Williams University.
After a very successful 16 years as Director of U.S. Admissions for Richmond, the American International University in London, Brian joined the University in January 2009. He is also a published author [ "Making the World a Part of You" ] in the international magazine Global Study.
He and his wife, Anne Lauer, recently moved from a waterfront loft in Boston, Massachusetts to the Emerson Carey Building in downtown Hutchinson, Kansas where they have a waterfront view of Cow Creek. The building was built in 1916 and was the former world headquarters for Carey Enterprises and the Carey Salt Company. They renovated the building into a residential loft for their home where they live with their 2 Siamese cats and a tabby, have a hot tub and sauna, a state of the art kitchen (Brian does all the cooking!) and are 50 miles from an airport where they can fly to anywhere in the world. They are especially fond of traveling to St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands, Rome, Paris, London and Isla Mujeres. And they are citizens of Red Sox Nation.
