Honorary Degrees Recipients / Lauree “ad honorem”
For nearly two decades, The American University of Rome has maintained a strong tradition of awarding noteworthy individuals an Honoris Causa degree. The honorary degree is awarded each spring at the commencement celebration and signifies the dedication and impact the recipient has had on either state, society, culture or the university. These degrees are approved by the Board of Trustees and by the Delaware Department of Education and are the highest honor that The American University of Rome grants.
