Film Club

The Film Club’s purpose is to further educate its members on the art, process, technicality and history of film. As well as, act a mediating organization between the Film department and the members of the club. More specifically, if the film department at AUR needed actors, crew or assistance, the Film Club is a direct place to call with eager members wanting to help out. Furthermore, the Film Club attracts many students in the population, bringing everyone even closer.
Meetings are held on a weekly basis, and they would most likely in their majority consist of a movie screening followed by a discussion on the film, behind-the-scenes clips, trivia, etc. All designed to contribute to the further appreciation of what they just saw. Trips to local theaters are also arranged, to see local Italian films or major blockbusters.
The AUR Film Club is a productive and fun outlet for many students, movie lovers or not, as it  helps people socialize and garner a new meaning for the art of film.
