International Relations Alumnus Jeremy Barnes
gets published on the Journal of Middle Eastern Geopolitics
29 February 2008: An article by Magna Cum Laude International Relations graduate of May '07, Jeremy Barnes, has been published by the October-December 2007 edition of the Journal of Middle Eastern Geopolitics, a quarterly magazine widely distributed through academic, governmental, and industrial institutions, as well as through the traditional distribution chain all over the world.
The fascinating article explains why 25,000 Jews are still living in the Islamic Republic of Iran today and analyzes the factors which led the Iranian Jewish Community to be supportive of the Islamic Revolution, the space in modern Iranian society which the Islamic Government has created for them and the various reasons why many Jewish claim to have no desire to leave Iran still today.
Jeremy is currently working in the Emergency Operations and Rehabilitation Division of the FAO as a Reporting Officer.
Congratulations and best wishes of continued success to him from AUR.
