On Wednesday 9 October 2019 at 18.00 Professor Paul Gwynne will give a lecture entitled 'The Villa Farnese at Caprarola and its gardens' on behalf of the British Institute of Florence.
"Professor Gwynne, of the American University of Rome, looks at what is probably the most beautiful and splendid residence in northern Lazio, built for the Farnese family in the earlier sixteenth century at Caprarola not far from Viterbo. He also considers the magnificent gardens."
This event is part of the cultural program for Harold Acton Library members.
