Departmental mission
The Office of Computer Services (OCS) at The American University of Rome supports an efficient technological infrastructure and promotes quality services in instructional and administrative technology to sustain the University’s mission in academic excellence, student learning and institutional effectiveness.

The mission of the OCS supports the University’s mission of being a quality institution of higher education that offers the best of the American approach to learning, by providing and maintaining quality instructional technology resources to support the University’s educational programs and enhance student learning. AUR strives to make wise and efficient use of its resources. To this end, the provision and assessment of computing and IT resources in academic and administrative areas is closely monitored to make them more responsive to student, faculty and staff needs. In assisting AUR’s vision of preparing graduates for the global community and in developing excellence among faculty, the Office of Computer Services promotes a culture of computer and technology literacy across campus.

The Office of Computer Services is located in Room 2 of Building A and is open Monday to Thursday from 8:00am to 6:30pm and on Fridays from 8:30am to 5:00pm.
